Our clients from Malawi ordered 2000pcs 2.4V1250mAh (1300mAh) LTO cells. They are going to put two batteries in series to produce a 4.4V to 5.4V device for lighting and cell phone charging, that is charged daily with a 6V solar panel.
The devices are assembled in Malawi, and they have a custom circuit made from diodes and resistors that that regulate the voltage and current for the daily charging and discharging of the light, and balancing of the charge of the two batteries.
The customers are very excited to use the LTO cells to be able to have solar lights that can last 10-20 years. They call them "Forever lights"
For the shipment, the 2000pcs cells were packed in 4 boxes, with total gross weight 93kgs. We will send them to the customer's designated shipping agent, and he will arrange shipment to Malawi.
