According to company executives, the permanent base in Chile’s capital will serve as a strategic hub to support the country’s accelerating energy storage capacity and the broader regional energy transition.

Chile stands out as one of the hemisphere’s most dynamic renewable energy markets, supported by stable grid modernization frameworks and a clear clean-power roadmap. The nation’s energy transition strategy aims to lift the share of clean energy from roughly 70% today to net zero by 2050, a trajectory that demands a rapid scale-up of energy storage to minimize solar and wind curtailment while reinforcing grid stability. Hithium’s full-scenario battery storage solutions, ranging from utility-scale projects to industrial applications, position the company as a competitive partner for developers seeking to integrate large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) into the country’s energy mix.
