SHENZHEN – The battery technology roadmap for 2026 is taking clear shape: LFP remains the ballast, solid‑state batteries lead the charge, and sodium‑ion chemistry secures its strategic position. At the 18th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Conference & Exhibition (CIBF2026), held from May 13–15 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Rept Battero (Ruipu Lanjun) demonstrated how this roadmap translates into real products. The company presented a full‑scenario battery matrix covering energy storage, passenger electric vehicles, and commercial vehicles – highlighting its end‑to‑end capabilities from cell materials and structural design to system integration, alongside industrialisation milestones in both stationary storage and e‑mobility.

Energy storage portfolio: from residential to utility‑scale

Rept Battero’s storage battery lineup now spans residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and large‑scale power station applications. For the residential segment, the company has been iterating based on real‑world demand, offering 50Ah, 72Ah, and 100Ah series cells, as well as 280Ah, 314Ah, and 392Ah variants suitable for home storage systems.

In the C&I and utility domain, the new Wending® 392Ah and Wending® 588Ah high‑capacity cells take energy density further. The 392Ah cell delivers a 25% capacity increase over 314Ah models, with a single‑cell energy of 1.25kWh and 95% energy efficiency at 0.5P. It supports full‑scenario deployment from residential to grid‑side applications, pushing storage cells toward greater capacity and platform standardisation. Meanwhile, the Wending® 588Ah cell reaches 1.88kWh per cell, leveraging the shortest electron‑transfer path and fastest ion transport enabled by Wending technology. It achieves a rare balance of energy, safety and cycle life – exceeding 10,000 cycles and a service life of 25–30 years, making it a benchmark for long‑duration energy storage.

The company also showcased the Powtrix® 3.0 energy storage system, which integrates 392Ah cells using innovative pack‑level engineering to deliver a significant performance leap. Packed into a 20‑foot standard container, the system boosts energy to 6.26MWh – a 25% increase in装载能量 – while raising area energy density by 25%, reducing land use by 16% and cutting on‑site labour hours by 18%. The system maintains 95.5% round‑trip efficiency, active balancing of 2A, stable operation across a -40°C to +60°C temperature range, high seismic tolerance, and zero thermal propagation. It provides a reliable, high‑efficiency solution for demanding storage scenarios.

Passenger EV products: extreme fast charge, extended‑range hybrid, and solid‑state hybrid cells

In the passenger vehicle segment, Rept Battero highlighted its 120Ah extreme fast‑charge cell, high‑energy PHEV/EREV pack, and hybrid solid‑state high‑nickel/manganese‑based batteries. The 120Ah cell leverages wide‑temperature thermal management from -40°C to 70°C, enabling 6C fast charging while retaining high energy density and safety – designed to meet daily commuting and long‑distance travel without compromise.

The Wending® 54Ah cell has become the company’s most widely adopted PHEV product, thanks to its “high safety, long life, strong adaptability.” In May 2025, it became the first cell to achieve certification under China’s mandatory new standard GB38031-2025, passing stringent thermal runaway, external fire, and impact tests – more than one year ahead of the official implementation, ushering in a “zero thermal runaway” safety stage. Additionally, the 54Ah cell delivers stable power output even under -35°C low temperatures and low state of charge (SoC), offering extremely broad application adaptability.

Built on the Wending technology platform, Rept Battero follows a two‑track strategy with manganese‑based and high‑nickel chemistries, spanning the mass market to premium segments. The Wending® hybrid solid‑state manganese‑based battery enhances low‑temperature performance and cycle stability, retaining over 80% capacity at -40°C and achieving more than 4,000 cycles. Under stringent 8mm nail penetration and bottom impact tests, it does not ignite or explode, demonstrating robust safety. The hybrid solid‑state high‑nickel battery, using solid electrolyte coating and silicon‑carbon anodes, delivers higher energy density (280–400Wh/kg) and superior safety. In a 170°C oven test, it achieves system‑level zero thermal propagation, making it a reliable power source for premium long‑range EVs and emerging applications.

Commercial vehicle solutions: ultra‑fast charging, extended life, and megawatt‑level breakthroughs

Rept Battero’s new commercial vehicle powertrain series directly addresses core pain points in logistics, mining, and construction. The portfolio covers 4C ultra‑fast charging, extended longevity, high integration, and extreme safety – systematically responding to efficiency and profitability challenges across different operational scenarios. Applications include buses, heavy trucks, mining trucks, and construction machinery.

The Chenxing 268Ah ultra‑fast charge battery supports 4C charging, adding 240 km of range in just 15 minutes, dramatically improving operational efficiency. The Chenxing 324Ah long‑life battery, designed for high‑intensity transport, extends pack life to up to 10 years or 1.5 million kilometres, providing reliable and durable energy support. Meanwhile, the F‑battery box raises single‑pack capacity to 600kWh, enabling 1.5C megawatt‑level fast charging and a 40% improvement in charging efficiency – marking a “megawatt ultra‑charging” breakthrough in the electric heavy‑truck sector.

With a comprehensive product portfolio spanning energy storage, passenger EVs and commercial vehicles, Rept Battero made it clear at CIBF2026 that LFP remains the industry’s workhorse, solid‑state technologies are accelerating towards mass deployment, and sodium‑ion positions are being firmly secured – all while delivering tangible, field‑ready solutions for the global energy transition.
