SVOLT Advances Global Battery Innovation with Short Blade 3.0 and Hybrid Solid-Liquid Technologies

At the 2026 SVOLT Global Partner Summit on July 16, Chinese battery manufacturer SVOLT showcased its latest breakthrough battery technologies across electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems (ESS), and emerging mobility sectors, reinforcing its push toward commercial scale and global market expansion.

EV Battery Innovations

SVOLT introduced the Short Blade Battery 3.0, designed to support ultra-fast charging rates up to 10C, making high-speed charging capabilities more accessible to mainstream EV consumers. Additionally, the company revealed its first mass-production-ready Hybrid Solid-Liquid 6C Fast-Charging Cell. Combining extended driving range, heightened safety standards, and high-power delivery, the 6C cell is targeted for commercial mass production in 2027.

Expanded Energy Storage Portfolio

In the energy storage segment, SVOLT rolled out comprehensive solutions spanning residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), utility-scale, and data center backup applications. Key product additions include stacked-cell residential storage batteries, a 285kWh C&I system, a massive 6.29MWh utility container, and specialized hybrid solid-liquid batteries engineered for AI data center UPS systems. The company also outlined its sodium-ion technology roadmap for future large-scale grid storage.

Emerging Mobility & Aerospace

Targeting the rapidly developing low-altitude economy, SVOLT debuted a hybrid solid-liquid eVTOL battery delivering an energy density of 340Wh/kg. For light electric mobility, the manufacturer expanded its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) lineup to serve high-performance electric motorcycles and battery-swapping platforms.

Manufacturing & Stacking Tech

On the manufacturing front, SVOLT announced that its proprietary Fly-Stacking 4.0 technology will enter mass production later this year. Utilizing the industry's first 16-sheet simultaneous stacking process, the technology doubles production efficiency, paving the way for larger-scale global deployment of next-generation battery cells.

Through these product debuts and process innovations, SVOLT continues to strengthen its competitive position within the global clean energy supply chain.
