Svolt Energy has commenced batch deliveries of its hot composite blade batteries to Vietnam's VinFast, marking a strategic entry into the ASEAN market. Following earlier European supply partnerships with Stellantis and BMW MINI, Svolt's blade batteries – recognized for safety, longevity, and fast-charging capabilities – now power VinFast’s Limo Green electric MPV.

The batteries feature Svolt’s proprietary hot composite flying stacking technology, delivering higher energy density, enhanced safety, superior power output, extended cycle life, and improved integration. Compared to conventional Z-fold or standard stacking methods, this design ensures exceptional diaphragm flatness and adhesion. Key innovations include a ceramic-coated cathode diaphragm and thermally sealed edges using hot cutting technology, eliminating powder shedding and edge damage to mitigate safety risks at the source.

VinFast, Vietnam’s first domestic automaker under conglomerate Vingroup, commands 45% of its home market. Its Limo Green 7-seater MPV, targeting business and family transport, garnered 45,813 pre-orders within 72 hours of launch.

This collaboration holds significant mutual benefits: VinFast leverages the battery’s safety and performance to boost the Limo Green’s competitiveness, while Svolt gains a crucial foothold in Southeast Asia.
