Beijing, Sept. 4 — Xiaomi Auto held a strategic cooperation launch event for its Dragon Armor Battery in Beijing, where it officially released details about the battery. The company said its upcoming Xiaomi Pengcheng series models will be fully equipped with the battery line.

At the event, Xiaomi Auto formally announced its strategic partnership with CALB. The two companies reached a consensus on full-chain industrial collaboration and jointly creating high-standard power batteries. CALB Chairman Liu Jingyu and Xiaomi Auto Vice President Huang Zhenyu witnessed the official announcement.

The Dragon Armor Battery launched at the event represents a battery safety standard, a battery system solution, and a platform-based strategic cooperation result from the deep collaboration between CALB and Xiaomi.

Under the partnership, CALB will join hands with Xiaomi Auto to build the Dragon Armor Battery into an industry benchmark. Relying on their full-chain collaboration model, the two sides aim to jointly create high-safety, high-reliability battery products, provide the market with trustworthy battery safety guarantees, and help drive high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry with continuously released leading technology and manufacturing strength.
