Barcelona, Spain / Huizhou, China — Electric motorcycle manufacturer Stark Future and lithium battery specialist EVE Energy have announced a significant expansion of their strategic alliance, blending deeper technical cooperation with an extended racing programme as both companies target new heights in electric two-wheeler performance.
Under the agreement, the two companies will compete together throughout the 2026 season in some of the FIM’s most demanding off-road World Championships, including World Supercross (WSX), SuperEnduro, HardEnduro and EnduroGP. Alongside the racing effort, they will continue to co-develop battery technology and advance product engineering across Stark Future’s high-performance motorcycle platforms.
Described by the partners as more than a sponsorship deal, the collaboration is a performance partnership built around a single objective: developing electric motorcycles that deliver harder acceleration, greater range, faster charging and race-winning capability in the toughest off-road and track environments.
Headquartered in Barcelona, Stark Future has quickly become a benchmark for high-performance electric off-road machines. Its VARG platform has redefined expectations by combining race-level power with the simplicity, rideability and lower maintenance that electric drivetrains offer. EVE Energy has been instrumental in this journey, contributing cylindrical cell expertise to support the development and series production of the VARG model family.
Across the current lineup, that technical collaboration continues to translate directly into product strengths. The VARG MX is engineered for maximum output, lightweight handling and world-class track performance. The VARG EX, a fully road-legal enduro machine, is optimised for technical enduro and long-distance off-road riding, where energy density, thermal stability and precise control are critical. The VARG SM brings the platform into supermoto, with strong, consistent power delivery, efficient charging and broader versatility opening a new chapter for high-performance road and circuit riding.
At the heart of the joint effort is the 26120 cylindrical cell, developed specifically for high-performance applications where weight, sustained power, thermal behaviour and fast charging must be balanced simultaneously. The cell boasts an industry-leading 10C peak discharge capability and 310 Wh/kg energy density, helping to reduce vehicle mass while delivering strong, repeatable performance under high loads and frequent charge-discharge cycles.
The extended partnership will also see this technology validated where it matters most — in competition. The shared 2026 race programme is intended not simply to showcase the collaboration, but to test and prove battery and vehicle performance under real race conditions.
The expanded strategic partnership marks a key milestone for deep technical cooperation within the high-performance electric motorcycle power sector.
Looking ahead, EVE Energy and Stark Future plan to further deepen their collaboration around high-performance electric motorcycles, with a clear focus on product innovation, technical co-creation and continuous gains in performance and sustainability across all categories.
