EVE Energy Targets 2026 for Breakthrough Solid-State Battery Launch

EVE Energy announced plans to commercialize its all-solid-state battery technology by 2026 during its 2nd Lithium Battery Conference on June 18th, coinciding with its 24th anniversary.

The company revealed key performance metrics for its solid-state pouch cells:

  • Operating Range: -20°C to 60°C at 20MPa pressure

  • Cycle Life: 2,000+ cycles at 45°C@1C

  • Storage: >93% capacity recovery after 28 days at 60°C

  • Power: 8C discharge capability

  • Safety: Passes crush and 200°C thermal chamber tests

Technology Roadmap:

  • 2026: "Generation 1.0" solid-state battery with 350Wh/kg and 800Wh/L density

  • 2028: "Generation 2.0" battery exceeding 1000Wh/L

  1. Chemistry: NCM cathode + silicon-carbon anode + sulfide solid electrolyte
