
Sungrow, a globally recognized leader in PV inverters and energy storage systems, has announced the official grid connection and commercial operation of a 200 MW/400 MWh energy storage project. The facility, which utilizes Sungrow’s PowerTitan 3.0 system paired with 600+Ah series stacked battery cells, achieved grid synchronization in just 17 days—setting a new industry benchmark for project execution speed.
Large-scale storage installations typically involve hundreds of devices and complex testing protocols, with traditional manual verification often dragging on for weeks. In this case, however, Sungrow deployed its proprietary full-chain intelligent delivery platform, which enables digital and visual management across every stage—from order entry and smart manufacturing to logistics, on-site commissioning, and intelligent operations and maintenance. Multiple processes run in parallel, sharply compressing the overall timeline.
A standout feature of the delivery system is its one-click self-configuration and self-check function, supported by pre-installation and pre-commissioning of the storage units. This innovation reduced the grid-connection commissioning phase from the usual ten-plus days to a single hour. As a result, the project passed its grid-connection test on the very first attempt, avoiding costly rework.
Operating under extreme summer heat, with ambient temperatures reaching 40°C, the plant nevertheless maintains efficient performance. Its top-exhaust air outlet design mitigates the heat island effect, while the integrated Bionic Thermal Balance 2.0 technology enables container-level independent temperature control and precise balancing within 1°C. This approach cuts overall operating energy consumption by 10% compared to conventional systems.
Notably, PowerTitan 3.0 received the smarter E AWARD 2026, underscoring its technological advancements in the storage sector. Backed by Sungrow’s world-class manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 100 GWh, the system combines rapid delivery, consistent quality, and industry-leading O&M capabilities—helping accelerate the clean-energy transition across more than 100 countries and regions worldwide.
