Among the coastal mountains of Dongxing City, Fangchenggang, Guangxi, the Dongxing Jiangping Wind Power Project is drawing attention as a green energy initiative. With a total installed capacity of 150MW, the project includes a 30MW/60MWh energy storage system and 220kV collection and boosting facilities. Its annual on-grid electricity can reach 330 million kWh, making it an important integrated “new energy + storage” demonstration project in Guangxi.

BYD Energy Storage provided a full set of solutions for the project, including the MC Cube-T Pro BESS, GC Flux PCS, and GC Master EMS. The project was first connected to the grid in December 2025, marking the successful commissioning of BYD Energy Storage’s new self-developed “BESS+PCS+EMS” system. This represented a historic breakthrough in delivering a complete storage solution from cell to grid. It has now operated stably for more than 10 months.

Located in an area where coastal mountains meet a marine climate, the project faces complex terrain, frequent typhoons, long rainy seasons, and other severe challenges. These conditions place strict demands on energy storage equipment performance.

BYD Energy Storage’s self-developed “BESS+PCS+EMS” system has undergone reliability validation from component to system level. It offers flexible adaptability across terrains and climates, can resist salt spray and humidity, and helps reduce maintenance frequency and operating costs. The application of the full self-developed system at Dongxing Jiangping not only supports efficient and stable operation but also offers a value reference and experience for other renewable energy projects.
